Community Services Recovery Fund

The Community Services Recovery Fund (CSRF) is a new $400 million investment by the federal government to support charities and non-profits as they adapt their organizations for pandemic recovery. The Community Services Recovery Fund is being delivered through three national funders – Canadian Red Cross, Community Foundations of Canada and United Way Centraide Canada.

Projects funded under the CSRF will be one-time projects that work within one of the following Project Focus Areas:

Although some projects may touch on more than one Project Focus Area, eligible organizations should select one focus area that best relates to their project’s main intent. The focus area will determine which national partner receives the application.

Organizations may submit only one application for funding under this program. This means only one application overall, across Project Focus Areas and funding stream tiers. An organization that applies as part of a collaborative and is not the lead applicant or is applying as a fiscal sponsor on behalf of a non-profit (incorporated or unincorporated organization), can apply to the fund but the project must be different.
